South Bay / St. Barnabas School

On Feb 17th, the Chapter had Mother Goose read to the pre-schoolers at St Barnabas School, in Bellmore, New York.  The children listened intently as Mother Goose read the stories.  They also received books, to take home, so their parents could read to them.

As part of the Dictionary Project, the South Bay Chapter of the Pioneers, distributed dictionaries to the 3rd Graders at the St Rose of Lima School in Massapequa, New York, on Feb 10, 2012, as seen in these two pictures. The children were amazed at all of the information in the dictionaries.
